Environment Name
This is the name of the Social platform.
Modules
This lists the various modules available within Embrace. These include both general modules and modules in groups. An administrator can choose three settings per module:

The module is available when a group is started. -

The module is not available when a group is started. The group administrator can activate the module via settings. -

The module is completely unavailable within Groups.

Timeline: Moderating posts and comments
Administrators can moderate posts. After activation, group administrators can also moderate posts and comments. When a post or comment is moderated, the original author receives a (email) notification that their post has been moderated, optionally with the reason. The action of moderating a post or comment cannot be undone. The optional reason can be changed.
Notifications
Notification settings: Email sender address
Email notifications and invitations are sent to the user from this email address. Often, a noreply@organization.nl address is entered here.
Default settings for email notifications for new users
Here you can set default settings regarding email notifications for all new users. If the last checkbox ‘Apply settings to existing users’ is selected and you click save, these settings will also be applied to all existing users.
Note: it is not recommended to overwrite user settings if they are already using the platform.

Email Overview
Weekly and daily newsletter
When activating a newsletter, all current users receive the newsletter. The default settings for email notifications for new users are not changed.
Then choose when the weekly and daily newsletters are sent.
User Settings
Default avatar
Change the default images of a user profile. These images are shown if a user has not yet added an avatar or header image.
Anniversary settings
Determine from which year the anniversary widget celebrates user anniversaries. Custom intervals are possible.
Language settings and user maintenance settings
Determines the default language of a user: Dutch, English or German. This only determines the language of the Social interface. Translation of content is done in Knowledge. The other settings can be easily toggled on or off.
Group Settings
Default avatar
Change the default images of a group. These images are shown if no avatar or header image has yet been added.
