Privacy Settings
Privacy settings determine which personal data can be accessed by other users on the platform. You have the following options:
- Only me
- My groups
- Everyone except guest users
- Everyone
Note: a change to these settings will only apply to new users. Therefore, before allowing users on the platform, you should carefully consider the most optimal configuration of the privacy settings. Settings for guest users cannot be adjusted: their settings are almost all set to 'My groups'. Contact information is set to 'only me'.
Privacy Policy
It is possible to easily display your organisation's privacy policy in Embrace. You can enable and edit the privacy policy functionality via environment management. For end users, the privacy policy appears directly in the pop-up menu when they click on the avatar. See also the image above.
