Setting up the Application Launcher

The App launcher is a powerful way for employees to quickly launch applications and shortcuts. Therefore, it is important to set it up properly with the apps relevant to you.

Note: Application Launcher (Embrace, Liquit or HelloID integration) is a paid add-on; additional costs are associated with this module. Activating this integration is outside the existing Embrace service. Please contact your account manager about this.

Setting up the App launcher

1. Navigate to Embrace Portals.
2. Select Content in the menu.
3. Choose Applications under Content types.

Adding an application

1. Click the plus (+) at the top right.
2. Fill in all the fields that appear on the right.
   • Title: the name that will appear under the image.
   • Image: upload a suitable image.
   • URL: the link to the application, for example: https://www.ishetalvrijdag.nl/.
3. Choose the options you want to enable:
   • Open in new window: the application opens in a new tab. This is useful if the link goes to another website.
   • Available on the web: the application is visible to users working via the browser.
   • Available in the app: the application is visible to users using the mobile iOS app or Android app.
4. Choose Save.

Modifying an application

1. Click on the application you want to edit.
2. Click on the three dots (⋯) behind the application details.
3. Select Edit.
4. Choose Save after you have adjusted the details.

Mobile app

You can also use the application launcher in the mobile app. It is located at the top left.

If an application should only be available for the mobile app or only for the web, follow these steps:

1. Click on the application you want to edit.
2. Click on the three dots (⋯) behind the application details.
3. Select Edit.
4. Choose the options you want to enable:
   • Available on the web: the application is visible to users working via the browser.
   • Available in the app: the application is visible to users using the mobile iOS app or Android app.
5. Choose Save after you have adjusted the details.
